What is Slam Dunk Festival?
Slam Dunk Festival is an annual independent rock music festival, celebrating the best in emo, pop-punk, metalcore, ska and more. The festival takes place every year in Leeds and Hatfield.
Slam Dunk Festival was born in 2006 as a single-stage festival at Millenium Square in Leeds, and has grown over the last twenty years to become a staple in the alternative calendar.
Where is Slam Dunk Festival?
Slam Dunk Festival North takes place at Temple Newsam, Leeds.
Slam Dunk Festival South takes place at Hatfield Park, Hatfield.
When is Slam Dunk Festival?
Slam Dunk Festival North takes on Saturday 29th May 2027.
Slam Dunk Festival South takes place on Sunday 30th May 2027.
Do all artists play both days?
Yes, all artists perform on Saturday at Temple Newsam in Leeds then play again in Hatfield on Sunday.
How old do you have to be to go to Slam Dunk Festival?
Slam Dunk Festival is an all-ages festival. Under 5’s go free. Free-of-charge under-5s tickets can be added to your order when purchasing tickets. Anyone ages 5 or over will need a full-priced ticket.
Please note that whilst we are an all-ages festival, there are no activities/entertainment directly for children, but if you want to start your little ones young and bring them to the rock show, you’re more than welcome!
