​When does Slam Dunk Festival take place?

Slam Dunk Festival 2026 will take place on the late May bank holiday at the following locations:

 

Slam Dunk Festival South - Saturday 23rd May 

Slam Dunk Festival North - Sunday 24th May 

 

When does the festival open?

The gates to the Festival Village will open at 9am on both days, and the main arena opens at 11am.  

 

The Festival Village features food traders, a bar, merchandise stands, and seating.

 

Do all artists play both days?

Yes, all artists perform on Saturday in Hatfield Park and then again on Sunday at Temple Newsam, Leeds.

 

Where is Slam Dunk Festival?

Slam Dunk Festival South takes place at Hatfield Park, Hatfield.  For detailed travel information, please head here.

How old do you have to be to go to Slam Dunk Festival?

Slam Dunk Festival is an all-ages festival.  Under 5’s go free.  Free-of-charge under-5s tickets can be added to your order when purchasing tickets.  Anyone ages 5 or over will need a full-priced ticket.  Please note that whilst we are an all-ages festival, there are no activities/entertainment directly for children, but if you want to start your little ones young and bring them to the rock show, you’re more than welcome!
